After two labor strikes and a deadly pandemic, Hollywood seems to be back in full swing. (You can tell by the number of Black-centric shows that were recently canceled) One inkling was the number of trailers released this weekend for a variety of titles. Combat Evolved
While die-hard gamers soured at the narrative changes to Paramount Plus’s version of Halo, I enjoyed how the series maintained the essence of the video game. The FPS perspective during battle scenes was perfection, and it seems from this trailer, the second season will embrace more of the evolved combat that made this video game a true classic. Season two of Halo arrives February 8.
